Additional Instructions
Also:
When choosing sites, please remember to post and check to see what others are doing before you spend a great deal of time on the site only to find that it has been taken.
We will assume that these are self-contained classrooms that teach across all subject areas-so please choose with that in mind. When you post your choices, please include the curricular focus of your site.

Design professional development for teachers
Hello team,
For this problem of pratice, we need to develop an online training for special education elementary teachers. The focus of this training will be the introduction of two websites to teachers that have the following criteria:
1. Extremely user friendly
2. Adaptive to differentiated learning
3. Appeals to children with short attention spans
4. Allows for streaming teacher interaction
5. Built in tutorials for teachers and students
Following this training, the teachers should be able to take away a good working knowledge of the site so it is important to provide several practice activities within the training for each site (may be the same task to try on all three).
Your tasks:
1. Post two sites to this blog that you will explore. Please check this list so that everyone visits different sites. These can be some of the sites we have looked at, you tube videos that have a unique perspective on the topic or other training tools you may find from professional organizations.
2. Be prepared to defend your site based on the above criteria.
3. Provide link to site
4. Create a PowerPoint slide that has the link to your site (one per site) with a few words or something creative and descriptive. Could include home page of site image. Send me a power point slide as an email attachment: ccardiff.cardiff@gmail.com- I will post to Voicethread and you can go back and add voiceover to your slide. Feel free to be creative on your slide or provide links to other nifty things you run across. Please try to get slides to me before out session so we can look at it. It will fun to see the final product.
Once I have the slides, I will post the link to voicethread so that you can "voice" your slides.Go to podcast site (Voicethread- link will be added to blog) and record a voice comment on your two slides to talk about how this site can be useful in the special education classroom or what you found to be the best feature of the site.
Great Job Team!!
